Bikers for LIFE was held in the center of Makati at the Goldcrest parking
area between Park Square 1 and 2, Ayala Center on Saturday July 14th,
2001 with the principal benificiary being the charity L.I.F.E.
This was the biggest biker party Makati
had ever seen with somewhere between 600 to 1,000 bikes and riders. Live
bands and performances by well known local artists and stars of stage
and screen supplied the entertainment.
The schedule was:
8am registration, tshirt distribution and preparation
for Motorcade to Ayala center. Meet at the Caltex gas station
on Meralco Ave cnr. Julia Vargas between 8 and 9am for registration and
motorcade form up.
9:30am to 10:30am A motorcade of at least
500 bikes. Every rider on any bike except public utility tricycles is
invited to join but must stay in formation.
10:45am Priest to bless the rally.
11am Brief welcoming speeches from LIFE, LMFI and Freedom Riders.
11:15am Flag parade and National Anthem. A Motorcycle exhibition
11:30am Second motorcade. Two groups to ride around the Makati business
district.
12 noon arrive back at rally venue for lunch break and commence registration
for games and competitions.

Best Cruiser
Best Dual Sport
Best Standard
Best Off Road Bike
Best Scooter
Best Maxi Scooter
Best Vintage Bike (1979 or earlier)
Best Overall in Show
Best Rat Bike
(most beat up, used, abused but roadworthy)
All except best in show will have 1st,
2nd and 3rd prizes
1:30pm Games commence and should finish by 5:30pm. Games
may include any or all of the following:
Slow Race
Gymkhana
Hotdog eating contest
Slalom
Dunk a biker
Etc.
5pm stunts/skills demo by Club200 and Bikers Unlimited.
 Our
MC Dylan Thomas of KCFM will be supported by co-hosts Stella
Ruiz and Chinggay Andrada. Then Stella Ruiz will start the live performances
as follows:

While the above is ongoing prizes will be announced including
the grand raffle prize a Kymco Zing motorcycle.
Souviner tshirts, patches and other biker gear will be
on sale all day.
A Blood Donation booth will be there but if you can't
donate blood you can donate blood money.
Lots of other vendors booths.
